AMMI Gala Dinner 2023
Malaysia is gaining recognition as a world-class medical device hub and manufacturing destination for global MedTech companies. Its vibrant MedTech industry has enabled over 300 medical device manufacturing companies to conduct crucial business activities in the country.
TAKO Healthcare is a leading company in cleanroom and medical packaging solutions, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. TAKO Healthcare participated in the Malaysia MedTech Industry Summit 2023, organized by the Association of Malaysian Medical Industries (AMMI), which was held on 2-3 October at Penang.
The summit was a platform for business leaders, industry experts and key stakeholders to discuss important topics such as medical device industry outlook, smart manufacturing and digitalization, ESG in the medical device industry, supply chain and contract manufacturing, regulatory development, medical device packaging and talent development.
TAKO Healthcare showcased its latest products and capabilities at the dedicated exhibition area, where it attracted the attention of many potential customers and partners. TAKO Healthcare also shared its best practices on cleanroom and medical packaging, highlighting its innovative solutions such as ESD protection, water-based printing, biodegradable materials and sterilization indicators. TAKO Healthcare team also learned from the insights and experiences of other speakers and panelists, who shared their views on the current and future trends in the MedTech industry.

The team has gained insight into the industry and what it takes to supply the medical device manufacturers/MNCs. The summit also offered a glimpse into the current and future outlook of the MedTech industry, both in Malaysia and globally. During the summit, some insightful talks were held on the market trends, opportunities and challenges that shape the industry, and how a company can position itself to take advantage of them.
However, TAKO Healthcare was proud to be part of the summit, which was a valuable opportunity to network, learn and grow with other players in the MedTech ecosystem.
